What's really going on in the psychedelic healing world?

What’s happening in the plant medicine world right now?
I recently went on a search for an opportunity to volunteer at an ayahuasca retreat center. This came from a deep calling within my spirit to work more closely with Ayahuasca. For the last 4 years I have been holding mushroom ceremonies- but I have always felt that at the root- Ayahuasca is still the one working through me. She has been my strongest guide throughout my healing journey and now journey as a medicine woman. So when I went on the search for this opportunity for a second time- I had also done a year ago but had no luck due to the fact that my Spanish is limited- I managed to come across a couple of places that were welcoming volunteers.
I began filling out the application for one of the retreat centers and as I did I began to feel my energy being drained, I had already spent a decent amount of time filling it out, but I knew I had to stop, that something wasn’t aligned with this place- and the misalignment was coming from this one question
“What does ‘holding space’ mean to you?”
Now I know this term is widely used in the healing world- it means to act as a compassionate, non judgmental ear, and to be a clear mirror for someone to move through their own process without interfering in their process by interjecting your own human experience onto it. Which I get, understand, and myself have found value in this being done for me.
BUT- here’s my unpopular opinion that I hold VERY strongly. I do not HOLD space when I hold a ceremony for someone- I orchestrate the space. I infuse the space with such strong unconditional love that the very essence of them melts open and unveils everything that is NOT true becomes visible for us to see- and THEN I begin clearing those energies from their field one by one- the conditioning, the imprints from trauma, the past life contracts, the energetic cords, the hexes and curses, the witch wounds, the outdated ancestral lineage karmic cycles, the list goes on and on and on and it is infinite- and I orchestrate the space through my access to this infinite web that I call the soul blue print.
There may be a moment where I sit in reverence to the grief that arises at seeing the illusion that once existed in their life- but only to then activate dormant DNA, reactivate gifts from past lives, and perform soul surgery that then leaves them laughing and in tears at how beautifully worth it it all was.
So when I felt this application wanting me to give them a basic answer about holding space - because as a volunteer- my role wasn’t going to be to do these sorts of healings but to be in support to the indigenous that would be running the ceremony- well I knew then and there that it wasn’t the place for me. Grandmother Ayahuasca doesn’t wish for me to hide in the back anymore- she’s calling me forward- and im honored to be answering that call.
I think there’s a misconception in many of the spaces where psychedelics are being served- and it’s that the medicine does the work for you- it reveals all- or it heals you. And while it can surely bring you into awareness of what’s ready to be healed and assist in moving emotion and clearing some blocks- I KNOW the spirit of these medicines actually become much more powerful when we humans- as extensions of God- work in collaboration with the medicine. This is what I do, I let spirit lead- and spirit moves through me to clear the most bizarre, hidden, and sometimes obvious things that are blocking my clients light. Surrendering solely to the medicine is actually giving your sovereignty away- showing up to the medicine with a clear mission and a guide with clear eyes to navigate these realms is where the deep healing happens.
Sadly, there’s a large part of the spiritual community that thinks they are healing- but they are actually just continuously spinning around in their old energetic muck- it’s not being cleared or released- its just sitting there waiting for them to sit with more medicine or do another sound healing to then “feel” again. Many don’t believe that we can actually transcend many of these things that we claim to be “just a part of being human” but im here to tell you that we can and thinking you just have to accept parts of yourself that don’t bring you joy is a limiting belief.
So my question is- do you want to keep feeling old emotions? Processing old grief? Or do you want to move past that part of the healing process, clear those energies and see how light and free life feels on the other side of it??
I facilitate private 1:1 ceremonies- where I devote myself to doing a complete soul blueprint reconfiguration for you that will have you in awe. If this feels like something your ready for- reach out for an application or schedule a curiosity call.
